Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup barley
  • 3 cup water
  • Milk as required
  • Sugar for sweetening or use fresh fruits

Instructions
 

  • Rinse barley and soak for 30 mins
  • Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles and 10 odd minutes on low flame
  • When the cooker cools down, add milk according to consistency required and boil a little more till its unified
  • Add sugar for sweetening or only fresh fruits like banana and dates. I've used pomegranate and kiwi too.
