Chokha as it is called in bihar state. A delicious fire roasted mashed aubergine, potatoes n tomatoes. This chokha served with litthi or sattu ka paratha. The recipe tastes very different.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 large Brinjal
  • 2 large Potatoes
  • 2 large Tomato red
  • 1 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 Onion medium size finely chopped
  • 6 pods Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash Baingan and Tomatoes properly.Put some oil on the outside body of brinjal and then Cut from half ,leaving on end attached (uncut) and keep it on the gas to roast for about 5-7 minutes.(rotate it regularly during the process so that it can roast
  • Also roast tomatoes on the gas.
  • Now brinjal gets roasted, remove its outer black burnt skin.
  • Heat oil in pan, add garlic cloves and saute till it get light brown. Add onion n saute for minute on high flame until it get brown. Add green chili n saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add mashed potatoes, brinjal, tomatoes and salt. Mix all ingredients well n switch off the gas.
  • Serve this with litthi, paratha or chapati.
