Saag Paneer-Potato Crust Pizza

This pizza is not exactly the conventional type of pizza. Potato Crust Pizza is very easy to prepare, no need for preparing the dough in advance and it’s also gluten-free. The Saag Paneer features paneer cheeses along with spinach. Flavorful and delicious combination.

Ingredients
  

  • CRUST: 500 gm potatoes
  • 50 gm cheddar cheese
  • 30 gm potato flour
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Salt
  • TOPPING: 300 gm paneer crumbled
  • 250 gm spinach roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 green chili minced
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Rinse, peel and cut the potatoes. Steam the potatoes until soft.
  • In a mixing bowl, add steamed potatoes, cheddar cheese, potato flour, ghee, salt and pepper. Mash and form a dough.
  • Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius.
  • Spread the potato mixture into the baking sheet and form into a 8 inch circle.
  • Bake the crust for 20 minutes, then pressed the crust down with a spatula. Then again baked it for 10 minutes more.
  • To prepare paneer saag. Heat ghee in a pan. Add onions, ginger, garlic and green chili. Cook till translucent.
  • Add chopped spinach, all spices and salt, cook for 4-5 minutes. Add cream and cook till all the liquid evaporates.
  • Spread about 1/3 cup of the saag on one of the pieces of potato crust, leaving about a ½Ã¢â‚¬Â border around the edges. Then top with crumbled paneer and sprinkle with the cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pizza are golden-brown, nearly 8 to 10 minutes.
