Ingredients
Vegetables
- 1 cup Broccoli
- 1 cup French Beans trimmed
- 1 Carrot medium-sized, peeled and cut into long, thin strips
- 1/2 cup Corn Kernels
Seasoning & Aromatics
- 1 tbsp Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Oregano Flakes dried
- 1/2 tbsp Pepper black, freshly ground, or to taste
- 1/2 tbsp Pepper Flakes or to taste, red
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
Oils & Toppings
- 1 tbsp Virgin Olive Oil extra, for drizzling
- 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil for sautéing
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds toasted
Instructions
Prepare the Vegetables
- Blanch the broccoli, carrots, and French beans in boiling water for 5 minutes. Add the corn during the last 2 minutes. Immediately drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Sauté the Vegetables
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the blanched vegetables and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until they are slightly tender-crisp and have some char marks.
Season and Serve
- Stir in the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
