- 1/4 cup Szechuan Sauce
- 1/4 cup Chutney green
- 1/4 cup Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Onion thinly sliced
- 1 Tomato thinly sliced
Instructions
Prepare the Uttapam Batter
- In a large bowl, combine the semolina, yogurt, water, salt, and green chilies. Whisk until a smooth, lump-free batter forms. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
Cook the Uttapams
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) over medium heat. Lightly grease with ghee.
- Pour a small amount of batter onto the hot tawa, spreading it into a thin circle.
- Sprinkle the chopped tomato, onion, carrot, and capsicum evenly over the top. Gently press down on the vegetables.
- Cook until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until lightly browned.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make several uttapams.
