- 2 Spring Onions chopped
- 4 French Beans trimmed and sliced
- 1 tbsp Butter or vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Oregano Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Cracked Pepper black
- 1/2 tsp Salt to taste
Instructions
Marinate the Pork Chops
- Add pork chops to a bowl. Add Szechuan sauce, Naga King chili sauce, and salt. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or longer for deeper flavor.
Pan-Sear the Pork Chops
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated pork chops and sear for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
Add the Sauce
- Stir in the tomato ketchup and soy sauce. Continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Prepare the Vegetables
- While the pork chops are cooking, boil the potatoes for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain well.
Sauté the Vegetables
- Melt butter in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the boiled potatoes and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Add the carrots, peas, spring onions, and French beans. Season with salt, oregano, and black pepper. Sauté for another 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Serve
- Serve the pan-seared Szechwan pork chops immediately with the sautéed vegetables. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
Expert Tips
- For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of garlic powder or grated ginger to the marinade.
- If you prefer a less spicy dish, reduce the amount of Naga King chili sauce or substitute with a milder chili sauce.
- For even cooking, ensure your pork chops are of uniform thickness.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when searing the pork chops; work in batches if necessary to ensure proper browning.
