  • 250 gm Cauliflower grated
  • 1 Onion finely chopped, medium-sized
  • 2 Tomato finely chopped, medium
  • 1 tbsp Ginger heaped, paste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger for garnish, fresh, julienned
  • 1/4 cup Coriander chopped, for garnish
  • 2 Chili adjust to taste, green, slit

Preparation

  • Soak grated cauliflower in warm water for 10 minutes to remove any insects.

Sautéing Aromatics

  • Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan or wok. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds; let them splutter.
  • Add bay leaves and cardamom pods. Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown over medium heat.

Building Flavor

  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 1 minute. Stir in ginger paste, green chilies, Kitchen King Masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Cook for 2 minutes over medium heat.

Cooking the Cauliflower

  • Add the drained grated cauliflower. Cook covered for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Finishing Touches

  • Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until any excess water evaporates.

Garnish and Serve
