- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida hing, heeng
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Sambar Powder
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste

- Add curry leaves and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add finely chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté for 3 minutes until softened.
Cooking the Potatoes and Cabbage
- Add the cubed potatoes to the pan and fry at medium-high heat until lightly golden. This should take about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and fry for 5 minutes at high heat, then reduce heat to medium.
- Add turmeric powder and salt. Stir well to coat the vegetables.

- Cover the pan and cook until the potatoes are almost tender (about 10-15 minutes).
