Ingredients
Vegetables
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 cup Bell Peppers capsicum, cubed
- 1 cup French Beans trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium Tomato chopped
- 2-3 Chilies finely sliced (adjust to taste), green
Spices & Paneer
- 100 gm Cottage Cheese cottage cheese, crumbled
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder adjust to taste, red
- 2 tbsp Oil vegetable or mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup Water
Instructions
Preparing the Vegetables and Spices
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add finely sliced green chilies and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, and french beans. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Adding Spices and Paneer
- Add ginger paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and sauté for another minute.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of water, cover the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Stir in the crumbled paneer. Cover and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the paneer to heat through and soften.
Serving
- Serve hot with warm rotis or chapatis.
