- 2 cup Fox Nuts makhanas, roasted
- 1/2 tsp Matcha Powder
- 1 Lime zest from one
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
For the Chocolate Drizzle
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1.5 drops Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp Water for double boiler
Instructions
Prepare the Chocolate Drizzle
- Combine olive oil, maple syrup, and water in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler). Whisk until smooth.
- Remove from heat and sift in cocoa powder, whisking until completely smooth and lump-free.
- Set aside.
Season the Fox Nuts
- In a large bowl, toss the roasted fox nuts with a drizzle of olive oil (about 1 tsp).
- Add matcha powder, lime zest, and sea salt. Gently toss to evenly coat the fox nuts.
Combine and Serve
- Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the seasoned fox nuts and gently toss to combine.
