  • 1 piece Meetha Paan alternatively, use 1 betel leaf and 1 tablespoon rose petal jam (gulukand)
  • 0.25 tsp Food Coloring optional, for enhancing the paan color, green

Instructions
 

Prepare the Paan

  • Cut the Meetha Paan into two pieces. Finely grind one half and coarsely chop the other.

Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda. In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, vegetable oil, and powdered sugar until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Make the Cake Batter

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until a smooth batter forms. Avoid overmixing.

Incorporate Paan and Food Coloring

  • Add the ground and chopped paan mixture to the batter. Stir in the green food coloring (if using) until evenly distributed.

Bake the Cake

  • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve
