- 80 gm Sugar brown, light muscovado sugar can be substituted

- 1 Large Egg

- 50 gm Oo Mugi Barley lightly toasted
- 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 0.25 tsp Salt

- 150 gm Chocolate Chips or chunks
- 80 gm Almonds chopped, walnuts or other nuts can be substituted

- Preheat oven to 190°C (170°C fan/gas mark 5). Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
