  • 120 ml Yogurt
  • 80 ml Milk
  • 100 gm Sugar or use 100g of packed light brown sugar. jaggery powder can also be used as a substitute., brown
  • 60 ml Vegetable Oil

Prepare the Wet Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, oil, and brown sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Add Mix-ins

  • Gently fold in the grated carrots and chopped nuts and berries.

Prepare the Baking Dish

  • Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and tap it gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

Baking Options
