Expert Tips for the Perfect Jeeravan Masala

  • Toasting the spices before grinding: Lightly toasting the whole spices (except powders) in a dry pan for a few minutes before grinding will enhance their flavor and aroma significantly.
  • Adjusting the heat: Adjust the quantity of red chilies to control the level of spiciness according to your preference.
  • Spice grinder quality: Using a high-quality spice grinder ensures a consistent and fine powder. A mortar and pestle can be used for a more rustic texture.
  • Storage is Key: Proper storage in an airtight container in a cool, dark place is essential to maintain the freshness and flavor of your Jeeravan Masala for several months.
