- 1 cup Kidney Beans rajma, boiled and drained
- 1 cup Chickpeas kabuli chhole, boiled and drained
- 1 medium Potato and mashed, boiled, peeled
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumb
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats powdered
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1/2 cup Coriander finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Peanuts roasted and roughly crushed
For Frying
- 2 tbsp Oil for shallow frying, vegetable or canola oil
Instructions
Prepare the Lentil Mixture
- Lightly mash the boiled kidney beans and chickpeas. In a large bowl, combine the mashed beans, mashed potato, breadcrumbs, powdered oats, red chili powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, salt, coriander, and crushed peanuts. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Shape the Cutlets
- Shape the mixture into heart-shaped cutlets using a cookie cutter or a heart-shaped mold. Alternatively, you can form them into small patties.
Fry the Cutlets
