  • Wash the ridge gourd thoroughly and peel it. Cut the gourd into bite-sized pieces.

  • In a blender or mortar and pestle, combine the black mustard seeds, poppy seeds, green chilies, turmeric powder, mustard oil, and salt. Grind to a smooth paste.
