- 1 tsp Semolina (sooji or rava)
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
Wet Ingredients
Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp Gingelly Oil (sesame oil), or any cooking oil of your choice
Instructions
Prepare the Batter
- In a large bowl, combine ragi flour, rice flour, semolina, grated beetroot, chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chili, and salt. Gradually add water while mixing until you achieve a smooth, dosa batter-like consistency. Let the batter rest for at least 10 minutes.
Cook the Dosa
- Heat a non-stick dosa pan or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly into a circle using the back of the ladle. Drizzle a little gingelly oil around the edges.

Serve and Enjoy
- Serve the ragi beetroot dosas hot with your favorite accompaniments such as coconut chutney, sambar, or tomato chutney.
