Instructions

Prepare the Tofu

  • Mash the silken tofu with a fork until completely smooth and creamy. Avoid using a blender as it can make the mousse too watery.

Combine Ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mashed tofu and soy milk until well combined and smooth.

Fold in Nutella

  • Gently fold in the Nutella until it's evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Do not overmix.

Chill and Serve

  • Pour the mousse into small serving glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set. Garnish with white chocolate shavings or your preferred topping before serving.

Recipe Notes

Expert Tips for the Best Healthy Nutella Mousse

  • For an even creamier mousse, use high-quality Nutella and silken tofu.
  • Adjust the amount of soy milk to achieve your desired consistency. Start with less and add more as needed.
  • If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a spoon or ziplock bag with a corner snipped off to transfer the mousse into the glasses.
  • Get creative with garnishes! Fresh berries, a dusting of cocoa powder, or even a sprinkle of chopped hazelnuts would add extra flavor and visual appeal.
