Ingredients

- 400 gm Yogurt greek yogurt recommended for a thicker consistency; can also use strained yogurt (hung curd)
- 1 tbsp Sugar adjust to your sweetness preference, powdered
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
For the Fruit Topping
- 100 gm Strawberries sliced
- 100 gm Kiwi peeled and sliced
- 10 Cherries fresh or frozen, pitted
For the Crunch
- 1/2 tbsp Almonds sliced
Instructions
Prepare the Yogurt
- Strain the yogurt through a cheesecloth-lined sieve or colander for at least 2 hours to remove excess whey. This creates a thicker, creamier yogurt.
Mix the Yogurt Base
- In a bowl, whisk the strained yogurt until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; whisk until well combined.
Prepare the Fruit
- Wash and chop your chosen fruits (strawberries, kiwi, cherries). Keep the fruit aside.
Assemble the Parfait
- In individual serving glasses or bowls, layer the chopped fruits. Gently fold the sliced almonds into the yogurt mixture.
Top and Chill
