Ingredients
 

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup Rolled Oats use quick-cooking or old-fashioned rolled oats, finely ground in a food processor for best results.
  • 1 cup Sugar powdered
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder unsweetened cocoa powder is recommended.
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Salt

Prepare the Oat Flour

  • Grind rolled oats into a fine powder using a food processor or blender.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered oats, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, cream together the cold butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Wet and Dry

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Add Cocoa Mixture
