- 2 Bananas 1 mashed, 1 sliced

- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Jaggery powdered
- 1/2 cup Milk full-fat
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder elaichi
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Water optional, if needed
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Instructions
Prepare the Caramel
- Melt butter in a 6-7 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle Demerara sugar evenly over the melted butter.
Arrange Bananas
- Arrange sliced bananas over the sugared butter in the pan.
Prepare the Dry Ingredients
- Whisk together whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Sift three times for best results.
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl, whisk together powdered jaggery and milk until the jaggery is fully dissolved. Strain the mixture to remove any impurities. Add mashed banana, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
