Ingredients
For the Smoothie Base
- 2 Bananas frozen, medium ripe
- 1 scoop Protein Powder butterscotch, vegan
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds organic
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter natural
- 1/4 cup Plant-Based Milk (almond, or oat milk), soy
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Cinnamon ground
For the Energy Balls
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats quick-cooking
- 1 tbsp Cacao Powder organic, unsweetened
- 1/4 cup Dates chopped, pitted
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp Chocolate Chips dark
For Garnish
- 1 tbsp Chocolate chopped, from energy balls
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 tbsp Peanuts chopped
- 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
Instructions
Make the Energy Balls
- Pour the rolled oats and cacao powder into a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Soften the chopped dates in the microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds with 1/4 cup of water. Drain excess water.
- Add the softened dates, vanilla extract, and dark chocolate chips to the food processor with the oat mixture. Pulse until a dough forms. Roll into approximately 10 small balls. Set aside.
Make the Smoothie
- Combine all smoothie ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
- Garnish with the energy balls, chopped chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts, hemp seeds, and chia seeds.
- Serve immediately.
