- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour or flour flour or part wholewheat
- 6 inch Pie Crust homemade
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
Make the Pie Crust
- Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, mixing until the dough just comes together. Form into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

- Add chopped dark chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Whisk in the flour until fully incorporated.
- Stir in apple cider vinegar and vanilla extract.
- Whisk in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set around the edges and slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Perfect Dark Chocolate Fudge Pie
- Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor. 70% cacao or higher is recommended.
- Don't overbake the pie! A slightly jiggly center will set as it cools.
- For a richer crust, use a combination of all-purpose and whole wheat flour.
- Chill the pie completely before serving to allow the filling to fully set and enhance its flavor. Consider chilling it overnight for optimal texture.
