- 1 cup Water for soaking the dal
- 3 clove Garlic
- 2 Chilies finely chopped, green
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 bunch Spinach finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1-2 tsp Salt to taste
For Cooking
- 2 tbsp Oil for shallow frying

Prepare the Chana Dal
- Soak 1 cup of chana dal in 1 cup of water overnight. Drain well and squeeze out excess water.
