Ingredients
 

For the Ice Cream Pockets:

  • 4 slices Bread use sandwich bread or a similar type. white bread works well.
  • 4 scoop Ice Cream chocolate, your favorite flavor; vanilla, or even strawberry work well.
  • 4 tbsp Butter melted
  • 2 tbsp Milk for sealing the bread
  • 1/4 cup Nuts optional; pecans, chopped, or almonds work well., walnuts

For Coating (Optional):

  • 1/4 cup Sugar granulated sugar for extra sweetness and crispiness.
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon ground cinnamon for added warmth and flavor (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ice Cream Pockets

  • Cut each bread slice into a roughly 4-inch circle using a cookie cutter or knife.
  • Brush both sides of each bread circle generously with melted butter.
  • Place one scoop of ice cream onto the center of one bread circle.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using).
  • Top with another bread circle, pressing gently to seal the edges.
  • Brush the edges with a little milk to help seal them.
  • Gently press the edges to ensure a good seal.
  • Refrigerate or freeze for 15-20 minutes to firm up the ice cream.

Air Fry the Pockets

  • Preheat your Philips Air Fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  • Optional: Mix sugar and cinnamon (if using) in a small bowl. Gently roll the sealed bread pockets in the sugar mixture.
  • Carefully place the ice cream pockets in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't overcrowded.
  • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
