Ingredients

- 6-7 leaves Peepal Leaves bodhi leaves

- 1 cup Yogurt greek yogurt recommended, thick
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder roasted
- 1/2 cup Cucumber finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Tomato finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Coriander finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp Salt kala namak, black, optional
- 1 tsp Sugar or to taste
- 1/4 tsp Salt to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Peepal Leaves
- Blanch the peepal leaves in boiling water for a few minutes until softened. Drain and finely chop them.
Make the Raita
- In a bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. Add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt (if using), sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Combine and Serve
- Add the chopped peepal leaves, cucumber, tomato, onion, and coriander leaves to the yogurt mixture. Stir gently to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
