Coconut chutney is a South Indian chutney-side-dish and condiment, a common in South Indian states. This coconut chutney served with many south indian recipes like idli, dosa, vada etc. The condiment is made with coconut pulp ground with other ingredients such as tamarind, gram dal, green chillies and coriander.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cup Coconut chopped
  • 1 cup Coriander fresh
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Chana Dal
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Tamarind Juice
  • 5 Green Chillies spicy
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 15 leaves Curry nos
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Take mixer grinder add coconut, coriander leaves, chana dal, green chilies, tamarind juice (soaked tamarind in water for 30minutes), salt.

  • Grind it into fine paste. Transfer it to a bowl

  • Heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves n let it crackle when both stop crackling then tempered chutney.
