Recipe Notes

Expert Tips for the Perfect Lassi

  • Use high-quality yogurt: The flavor of the yogurt is key to a delicious lassi. Full-fat, plain yogurt will provide the best creaminess and tang.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste: Start with less sugar and add more gradually until you reach your preferred level of sweetness. Taste as you go!
  • Chill thoroughly: Allowing the lassi to chill completely in the refrigerator is essential for its refreshing quality. The colder, the better!
  • Experiment with variations: Try adding a pinch of cardamom powder or a squeeze of lemon juice for a unique twist on the classic recipe.
