Recipe Notes

Expert Tips

  • For a smokier flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika or a few drops of liquid smoke.
  • Experiment with different types of coffee beans for varied flavor profiles. Dark roast coffee will impart a more intense and bitter flavor.
  • Don't be afraid to adjust the amount of chili powder and cayenne pepper to control the level of spice.
  • Allow the meat to rest for at least 10 minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing and serving.
