- 1 cup Hung Yogurt greek yogurt, thick, strained yogurt. can substitute with greek yogurt for similar results.
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 cup Sweetened Milk condensed
- 2 tbsp Sugar adjust to taste depending on the sweetness of your condensed milk., granulated
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract optional, but recommended for enhanced flavor.
Fruit & Other
- 1 cup Blackcurrants fresh or frozen. if using frozen, thaw and drain well.
- 4 Ramekins small oven-safe dishes, approximately 6-ounce size.
- Water as needed, for bain-marie.
Instructions
Prepare the Yogurt Mixture
- Whisk together the hung yogurt and sugar until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the condensed milk, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until fully combined and creamy.
Incorporate Blackcurrants
- Fold in the blackcurrants gently.
Bake in a Bain-Marie
- Pour the yogurt mixture into the ramekins.
- Place the ramekins in a baking dish.
- Carefully pour hot water into the baking dish until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
Oven Baking
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
Cooling and Serving
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely at room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the yogurt to chill thoroughly.
