Ingredients
Mangoes
- 250 gm Mangoes use firm, raw, unripe mangoes. approximately 1 medium-sized mango.
Spices
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder red
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt black
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds dry roasted until fragrant
- 1 pinch Fenugreek Seeds methi
Sweetener & Fat
- 250 gm Sugar adjust to your desired level of sweetness.
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cup Water optional, to adjust consistency

- Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly. Peel and chop them into small, roughly 1-inch pieces.
Sautéing Spices
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the fenugreek seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.
Cooking the Mangoes
- Add the chopped mangoes to the pan and sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly softened.

- Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and black salt. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.
