About this Recipe

Thakkali pachadi or Tomato raitha is a simple, tasty, delicious and creamy side dish. It is served as a side dish for any pulao varieties. Traditionally we make it as a side dish whenever we make Poricha kuzhambu. Since Poricha Kuzhambu is made without tamarind, tomatoes and curd in this pachadi give a wonderful combo...

  • Ripened and Firm tomatoes finely chopped from 3 tomatoes
How to cook?
  1. Heat a pan with oil and do the seasoning with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. Once they splutter add a pinch of asafoetida and put the tomatoes and add required salt.
