- 4 Oranges any ripe variety
- 1 Cantaloupe ripe
- 2 Bananas ripe
Garnish
- 4 Cilantro Leaves for garnish
For the Glass Rims (Optional)
- 1/2 Lemon Slice
- 2 tbsp Sugar powdered
Instructions
- Peel the oranges and separate the segments. Peel and seed the cantaloupe, then cut it into chunks. Peel the bananas.
- Juice the cantaloupe, followed by the oranges and cilantro stems. This extracts maximum flavor from all ingredients. Strain the combined juices into a pitcher.
- In a blender, combine the strained juices, honey (if using), and banana chunks. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- For an elegant touch, optionally rim the glasses. Moisten the rims with the lemon slice. Spread the powdered sugar on a small plate. Dip each glass rim into the sugar, coating it evenly.
- Pour the smoothie into the prepared glasses. Garnish each glass with a fresh cilantro leaf. Serve immediately or chill for a later treat.
