Ingredients
For the Potato Filling
- 2 medium Potatoes peeled and mashed
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Onion Paste
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Pepper black, or to taste
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1 tbsp Herbs dried italian herbs or a mix of your choice, mixed
- 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes or more, red, to taste
For the Toast
- 4 slices Bread your favorite type
- 2 tbsp Butter melted
- 4 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
Instructions
Prepare the Potato Filling
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion paste and ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant.
- Add mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, herbs, and chili flakes. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Assemble and Bake the Toast
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) for 10 minutes.
- Brush bread slices with melted butter.
- Spread the potato mixture evenly over each slice of bread.
- Top with tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs and chili flakes if desired.
