Ingredients
Produce
- 1 bunch Nari Ka Saag also known as water convolvulus; thoroughly washed and chopped
- 2 clove Garlic minced
- 2-4 Chili finely chopped; adjust to your spice preference, green
Pantry
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil or your preferred cooking oil
Instructions
Preparation
- Thoroughly rinse the water spinach to remove any grit. Allow it to drain completely in a colander for at least 30 minutes, or use a salad spinner for faster results.
Stir-frying the Water Spinach
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped green chilies and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the drained water spinach to the wok. Stir-fry over high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted but still retains some crispness.
- Season with salt and stir to combine. Continue to cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately. Enjoy!
