- 2.5 tbsp Water or dough knead the dough
- 1 pack Filling or maggi for the maggi

- 2 cup Spinach

- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Pepper black
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Cheese optional grated

Instructions
Prepare the Tart Crust
- Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold, cubed butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, mixing until the dough just comes together. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
Prepare the Filling
- Cook Maggi noodles according to package directions, omitting the seasoning packet. Set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic in oil until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- In a separate pan, melt butter. Whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in heavy cream, stirring constantly until a smooth, thickened white sauce forms.
- Stir in the spinach mixture, corn, cooked Maggi noodles, Maggi seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove from heat.
Assemble and Bake the Tarts
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease mini tart pans.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough. Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut out circles slightly larger than the tart pans. Press the dough into the pans, trimming excess dough.
- Fill each tart shell with the Maggi filling. Sprinkle with grated cheese (optional).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is heated through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for Perfect Spinach and Corn Maggi Tarts
- For a richer flavor, use homemade Maggi noodles or substitute with another type of thin pasta.
- Don't overcook the spinach; it should be wilted but still bright green.
- If your dough is too sticky, add a tablespoon more of flour until it is manageable.
- Blind baking the tart shells for 10 minutes before adding the filling will help prevent a soggy bottom.
