- 1 cup Pizza Sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup Bell Peppers finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Sausage cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup Corn sweet
- 1 tbsp Oregano dried
- 1 tbsp Pepper Flakes red
- 2 tbsp Butter for brushing after baking
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds optional, for topping
Instructions
Activate the Yeast
- Combine yeast, sugar, and lukewarm water in a bowl. Stir well, cover, and let stand for 15 minutes, or until foamy.
Make the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, yogurt, and the activated yeast mixture. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead the Dough
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10-12 minutes, adding the butter or oil during kneading. The dough should become soft, elastic, and not sticky.
First Rise
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1-1.5 hours).
Shape the Dough
- Punch down the risen dough and knead for another 5 minutes. Roll the dough to 1/2-inch thickness and use a 4-inch cookie cutter or knife to cut out circles.
Assemble the Rose Pizza Muffins
- Brush each dough circle with a little butter. Make 4 diagonal cuts from the edge towards the center, leaving the center intact.
Fill and Shape
