Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Garlic fine chops
- Ginger fine chops
- 1 Onion chopped, fine chops, medium sized
- 1 cup Carrot fine chops
- 1 cup Beans fine chops
- 1 cup Bell Peppers fine chops, green
- 1 cup Spring Onions fine chops
- tbsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 200 gm Rice basmathi
- 1.5 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 3 tbsp Oil
Instructions
Prepare the Rice
- Cook basmati rice according to package directions, adding vegetable oil and salt to the cooking water. Fluff with a fork and set aside to cool.
Stir-fry the Vegetables
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger; stir-fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add finely chopped onions and stir-fry until softened (about 2 minutes).
- Add carrots, green beans, and green bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender-crisp.
- Stir in ground black pepper and soy sauce. Mix well and cook for another minute.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked and cooled rice to the pan. Gently mix everything together until the rice is heated through and well coated with the vegetables and sauce.
- Stir in the white parts of the spring onions.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with the green parts of the spring onions.
