Ingredients
Vegetables
- 3 Tomatoes chopped, medium-sized
- 1 Bell Peppers bell pepper, chopped, small
- 1 Onion chopped, small
Noodles & Spices
- 70 gm Hakka Noodles
- 1 tsp Pepper Seeds black, lightly crushed
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or to taste, red
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds optional

- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for sautéing
- 1 cup Water as needed, or more
Instructions
Prepare the Tomatoes
- Boil the tomatoes until softened. Once cool, blend them into a smooth puree without adding water.
Sauté Vegetables
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add the chopped capsicum and onion. Sauté for 10 minutes until softened, then set aside.
Cook the Noodles
- Cook the Hakka noodles according to package directions. Drain well and set aside.
Make the Soup Base
- In a separate pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil. Add the cumin seeds (if using) and sauté briefly. Add the red chili powder and salt.
