About Orange Iced Tea
I absolutely love iced tea, especially the classic lemon flavor—it's my go-to refreshment during the hot summer months. This time, with some fresh oranges in my fridge, I decided to give my favorite drink a citrusy twist by making Orange Iced Tea using fresh orange juice.
If you’re an iced tea lover like me, this recipe is a must-try. The vibrant combination of brewed tea, zesty orange juice, and a hint of mint creates a perfectly cool and invigorating beverage. Trust me—you’ll end up loving this refreshing take on iced tea just as much as I do!

Recipe Notes
Additional Tips
- For a bolder citrus flavor, add thin slices of orange and a few strips of orange zest to the brewed tea while it cools, then strain before serving.
- Swap regular black tea leaves for Darjeeling or Assam varieties for a nuanced flavor that pairs beautifully with orange juice's sweetness and acidity.
- Chill the serving glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before pouring in the iced tea to help keep the drink icy-cold, especially in hot Indian summers.
- To make a sparkling version, replace half the water with chilled club soda just before serving for a fizzy, festive twist.
