Ingredients
For the Chocolate Biscuit Base:
- 250 gm Biscuit parle-g or marie biscuits. you may substitute with other similar sweet biscuits.
- 4 tbsp Chocolate Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Coffee Powder instant
- 2 tsp Cocoa Powder optional, enhances chocolate flavor
- 50 gm Butter unsalted, softened
- 2-4 tbsp Milk add more as needed to achieve desired dough consistency.
For the Coconut Filling:
- 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
- 1/4 cup Sugar adjust to your sweetness preference., powdered
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp Milk for adjusting filling consistency.
Other:
- 1 Sheet Of Parchment Paper or plastic wrap
Instructions
Prepare the Biscuit Base
- Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- Transfer the crumbs to a large bowl. Add the chocolate syrup, instant coffee powder, cocoa powder (if using), softened butter, and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix well until a soft, pliable dough forms. Add more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed to reach desired consistency.
Prepare the Coconut Filling
- In a separate bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix until well combined and the mixture is evenly moistened.
Assemble and Roll
- Place a sheet of parchment paper on a clean surface. Spread the chocolate biscuit dough into a rectangular shape on the parchment paper. Try to make the edges as even as possible.
