Ingredients
Crust
- 32 pieces Oreo Cookies
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
Chocolate Filling
- 200 gm Milk Chocolate chopped
- 100 gm Chocolate chopped, dark
- 200 ml Heavy Cream
Topping
- 150 gm Strawberries fresh, sliced
- 50 gm Almonds chopped (or pistachios, or other nuts)
- 8 inch Baking Pan 8x8 inch square pan or similar
Instructions
Prepare the Oreo Crust
- Process Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely crushed.
- Add melted butter to the crushed Oreos and process until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- Freeze the crust while you prepare the filling.
Make the Chocolate Filling
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over low-medium heat for a few minutes, until just simmering. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and pour over the chopped milk and dark chocolate. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Assemble and Chill
- Pour the chocolate filling over the frozen Oreo crust.
- Arrange sliced strawberries and chopped nuts over the chocolate layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
