Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 Apple
- 2 Kiwis
- 1 1/2 cup Grapes green
- 1/2 cup Pomegranate Seeds
- 1/2 Plum
Liquid
- 1 cup Apple Juice
Instructions
- Thinly slice the apples, kiwis, and plum.
- Arrange the apple and kiwi slices along the sides of the popsicle molds. This creates a visually appealing layered effect.
- Fill the center of the molds with the grapes, pomegranate seeds, and plum slices. Layer the fruits for a mix of colors and flavors in each bite.
- Fill the molds about 4/5 full with the fruit. Leave some space at the top for the apple juice to expand as it freezes.
- Slowly pour the apple juice into each mold, leaving a small gap at the top. This prevents overflow during freezing.
- Secure the popsicle mold lids tightly. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 5-6 hours, or until the popsicles are completely solid.
- To easily remove the popsicles, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds. Gently pull the popsicles out of the molds.
- Enjoy your refreshing homemade fruit popsicles immediately!
Recipe Notes
Good To Know
- Apples, pears, grapes, pomegranate, kiwi, plums, peaches, berries, and oranges work well in these popsicles.
- Apple juice enhances the fruit flavors and creates vibrant colors.
- For layered popsicles, freeze each layer for 30 minutes before adding the next.
- Vary fruit sizes for textural interest.
- Dip the molds in warm water for easy removal.
- Add lime juice or chaat masala for a tangy twist.
- Layer fruits by color for visual appeal.
- Use unsweetened apple juice to highlight the fruits' natural sweetness.
- Blend fruits with juice and strain for a smoother texture.
Expert Tips
- For creamier popsicles, use full-fat coconut milk instead of apple juice. This adds a tropical twist and a richer texture.
- If you don't have popsicle molds, use small paper cups and wooden craft sticks. Cover the cups with plastic wrap and insert the sticks through the wrap before freezing.
Storage Instructions
- Store popsicles in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 months.
