Expert Tips for Perfect Spinach and Cracked Wheat Idlis
- For a smoother batter, blend the ingredients for a longer time. Adjust the water consistency as needed.
- Don't over-steam the idlis, as this can make them tough. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.
- Adding a teaspoon of grated ginger to the batter enhances the flavor.
- Experiment with different chutneys – coconut chutney, tomato chutney, or sambar pair exceptionally well with these idlis.
