Ingredients
 

Dry Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Jaggery adjust to your preferred sweetness. can use granulated jaggery or shakar.
  • 3/4 cup Refined Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Yogurt can substitute with buttermilk.
  • 1/4 cup Milk add more if needed to adjust batter consistency.

Optional Topping

  • 1/4 cup Nuts walnuts, almonds, chopped, or pecans work well.

Instructions
 

Prepare Dry Ingredients

  • Combine whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Prepare Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, combine jaggery, oil, and yogurt. Microwave the jaggery for 30 seconds to melt it completely, then stir until well combined and smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Add milk, a little at a time, if the batter is too thick. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cake

  • Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or similar. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top (optional).

Air Fry the Cake

  • Air fry for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Keep an eye on it to avoid over-baking.

Cool and Serve

  • Remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving. Enjoy!

Hi…saw ur eggless whole wheat jaggery cake…tried it today…the cake turned out really moist but it was dense and not light and airy plus its interior had not turned out as its exterior…like from exterior it was baked and had that texture but wen i cut it, inside texture felt like a wheat halwa…can u plz tell me the resson what i did wrongly…wish if i could send u a pic…would appreciate your response…Thanks in advance5 stars
