Recipe Notes

Additional Tips

  • For an extra aromatic touch, muddle a few fresh fennel fronds or lightly toast whole fennel seeds before grinding them into powder to intensify the fennel flavor in your cooler.
  • If you prefer a sparkling version, replace half of the water with chilled soda water just before serving for a fizzy twist that enhances the refreshing quality.
  • To make this drink vegan, substitute honey with agave syrup or maple syrup, which will still provide a pleasant sweetness while keeping the flavors balanced.
  • Chill your serving glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before pouring the cooler to keep your beverage colder for longer without diluting the flavors with excess ice.
