Ingredients
Lentils & Legumes
- 1 cup Mung Bean soaked in water for at least 1 hour before use, yellow lentils
Spices & Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Chili Powder red
- 0.25 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 4 cup Water or enough to reach the minimum fill line in your philips soup maker
Garnish (Optional)
- 2 tbsp Cream Or Yogurt fresh
- 1 tbsp Coriander chopped
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients
- Wash and soak the moong dal for at least 1 hour.
- Dice the tomatoes, carrots, and onion.
Making the Soup
- Add the soaked moong dal, diced tomatoes, carrots, onion, salt, red chili powder, and ginger-garlic paste to your Philips Soup Maker.
- Add 4 cups of water (or enough to reach the minimum fill line).
- Close the lid securely.
- Select the smooth soup setting on your Philips Soup Maker.
Serving
- Once the soup is finished, carefully remove the soup maker lid.
- Ladle the soup into bowls.
- Garnish with fresh cream or yogurt and chopped cilantro.
