Ingredients
Herbs & Aromatics
- 1 bunch Coriander also known as dhania
- 1/2 cup Mint Leaves
- 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
- 2 clove Garlic big cloves
Dairy & Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Yogurt plain, thick yogurt or curd
- 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp Lime Juice optional, for extra tang
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder optional, for added spice, red
- 1-2 tbsp Water as needed for desired consistency
Instructions
Preparation
- Chop coriander and mint leaves finely.
- Finely chop the ginger, garlic, onion, and tomatoes.
- Combine the chopped coriander, mint, ginger, garlic, onion, and tomatoes in a food processor or blender.
- Blend until a smooth paste forms. Add a little water if needed to achieve a smooth consistency.
Mixing the Chutney
- In a bowl, combine the blended mixture and yogurt.
- Mix well to ensure everything is thoroughly combined.
- Season with salt, lime juice (if using), and red chili powder (if using). Adjust the seasoning to your preference.
