Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour also known as maida
  • 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
  • 1/2 cup Nuts assorted nuts, chopped, pecans; grated nuts also work well., such as almonds, walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder for richer chocolate flavor, unsweetened

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter softened, unsalted
  • 1/4 cup Cashew Paste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or chocolate extract
  • 1-2 tbsp Milk add as needed for desired dough consistency; creamy milk recommended

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat. Add the all-purpose flour and stir until well combined.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in the powdered sugar, chopped nuts, cashew paste, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Gradually add milk, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Shape and Coat the Bars

  • Press the dough firmly into a lined baking pan to create a flat, even layer. Use a knife to cut the dough into bar shapes.
  • Gently press extra chopped nuts onto the top of the bars to coat them.

Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate the bars for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving. Enjoy!
