Ingredients
- 4 Chicken boneless, breast
- 1 cup Breadcrumb
- 1 cup Walnuts
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour maida
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder red
- 1 tsp Pepper black
- Vegetable Oil or oil olive oil for frying
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Rub the mixture thoroughly over the chicken breasts.
Toast and Grind Walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread walnuts on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant. Let cool slightly, then pulse in a food processor or blender until finely ground. Combine with breadcrumbs and red chili powder in a shallow dish.
Prepare the Breading Station
- In a separate shallow dish, combine flour and a pinch of salt. In a third shallow dish, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt.
Bread the Chicken
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Finally, press the chicken into the walnut-breadcrumb mixture, ensuring a good coating. Repeat for all chicken breasts. Place breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken tenders for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Expert Tips
- For extra crispy tenders, double-bread the chicken: repeat the flour-egg-breadcrumb process.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when frying; work in batches to ensure even browning.
- Toasting the walnuts before grinding enhances their flavor and creates a more intense crunch.
- Feel free to experiment with different spices and herbs to customize the flavor. Try adding paprika, thyme, or rosemary.
